Helulu!

I started taking ceramics in high school and quickly knew I wanted to make a career out of it.
I attended Miami University where I studied Art Education and Ceramics. I was deeply inspired to make large and whimsical pieces, and it was here that I came up with the idea for Lulu Pots.
I sold some work before setting off for Los Angeles to try my hand at being an artist full time. I got a job at a community studio where I learned the technical side of being a potter.
I continued on to have a job as a production potter for Ceramicah, an LA based lamp company. Shortly after that, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's and Multi-Connective Tissue Disease. This prompted me to take a break to prioritize my health, and a few months later open up my own studio so I could be more gentle with my health and create and sell my own work.
